September Fishing Report – We have been catching some big amberjack on the 10 and 12 hour Orange Beach fishing charters. We have also caught some variety with vermillion snapper, white snapper, scamp grouper, red grouper and wahoo. The vermillion snapper bite has been decent on the 6 hour trips. We have also caught some kings and Spanish mackerel on the 4, 5 and 6 hour charters. The fishing should be really good moving into late September and October.

September Fishing
August Fishing
August Fishing has produced some nice catches of vermilion snapper on 6-hour trips and longer. These fish are not big fish but they sure are fun to catch. They are excellent table fare. We are beginning to catch more Spanish mackerel and kings on the 4-hour trips. We have caught a few isolated amberjack on the 6-hour trips. Most of the big amberjack are being caught on 10 and 12-hour trips. We are also catching scamp grouper, red grouper, and gag grouper. A few wahoo have been caught. White snapper has also been biting well. I will be posting more Orange Beach Alabama fishing reports soon.
June Fishing
June fishing in Orange Beach Alabama has been great with lots of big red snapper caught. We are catching most of the red snapper on our popular 6-hour charter. We have also caught some very nice red snapper on our 12-hour trips. We are catching scamp grouper and occasional red grouper in the deeper waters. I hope the gag grouper bite turns on in June. We have caught some small and some very nice size vermillion snapper. The white snapper has been good. We have caught some very nice kings on some of the reefs. The big sharks are still around. We haven’t done much deep drop fishing but we are looking forward to some trips later in June. As you can see there is much more variety being caught on the full day trips. However, book a 6 hour trip and enjoy catching some red snapper that will bend your rod. Don’t forget that amberjack season opens in August.
April Fishing
April fishing has begun with nice catches of big triggerfish, vermillion snapper, and Spanish mackerel. We are also catching and releasing some nice red snapper and occasional amberjack. Scamp grouper, red grouper, vermillion snapper, white snapper, and triggerfish will be caught on our full day charters.
March Fishing
March fishing has been great with catches of triggerfish and vermillion snapper. These fish may be kept and are very tasty. We are also catching and releasing red snapper and amberjack. The 5 and 6-hour charters have been good options. We are catching some Spanish mackerel and bonita on the 4-hour charters. these are all awesome family fishing charters. If you are looking for a more serious charter then the 12-hour trip is very good for deep drop fishing for snowy grouper, yellowedge grouper, tilefish and more.
February Fishing
February finally provided some beautiful weather. Triggerfish are biting and we can keep them beginning March 1st. We can also keep vermillion snapper. We are catching and releasing red snapper and amberjack. Always a chance to hook into a big shark. Spring break fishing is going to be fun. The 6-hour trip is best but a 5 hour is not bad either.
January Fishing
January has given us cold weather and most everyone has not been on the water. We fished early January and caught triggerfish, vermillion snapper, and amberjack. We are looking forward to warmer weather in February. Triggerfish season opens March 1st and we will be chasing those tasty fish for two months.
